Capitol Hill Rainbow Club

Rainbow Club is for anyone who identifies as LGBTQIA2S+, allies of that community, or caregivers of a student who identify as LGBTQIA2S+.

We aim to build a community where families and students feel safe and supported. Please join the next meeting on February 26th at 6:00pm in the Capitol Hill Library for our next meeting.

Ticket sales close a week before the event (so the event team can prepare welcome bags, order the appropriate amount of food, etc.), so don't procrastinate! See you there!

Family Fun Night

We hope you had a blast at the Family Dance! Our next Family Fun Night is OMSI Night on March 14th in the Capitol Hill cafeteria. OMSI will fill tables with amazingly fun interactive science equipment and challenges guaranteed to thrill youngsters, perplex adults and offer an unforgettable science experience.

Family Fun Nights are FREE PTA-sponsored events for our school community.

Ida B Wells Softball Throwing Clinic

Join the Ida B. Wells Head Coach Krissy on Sunday March 2, 2025 in the IBW Gymnasium for a High Level Throwing inspired clinic for youth softball athletes and coaches. In just two hours, athletes and coaches will learn patterning drills and skills to correct arm path and increase overhand throwing velocity and accuracy.

2 - 4 PM 11" Ball:

4 - 6 PM 12" Ball:

Items required:

Both clinic times are capped at 40 athletes and 20 coaches. Register today to save your spot!

Join a Capitol Hill PTA Meeting

There are only 3 PTA meetings left. Have you attended one yet? The Capitol Hill PTA is a dynamic and delightful group of parents and school staff who oversee almost every event that our students enjoy!

The PTA meets monthly. Meetings are hosted by the board, and open to all parents and Capitol Hill staff. Each meeting has a guest speaker or topic of the month, and is a great chance to ask questions, meet other families, and learn about the work we are doing to raise funds for our teachers and school. You do not need to be a paying member to join a meeting.

5:30pm - 6:30pm in the Capitol Hill Library. If you're unable to attend in person, a Zoom link is sent the week of the meeting. All are welcome.
